my five for this week…
pesto made by a yoga student and friend… extra delicious because it’s from her garden, her hands, her heart
walking along the canal path that parallels the potomac river… brunch afterwards with two of my three
sketching and painting… just small pieces… it feels really (really) good… I’d almost forgotten how much I love this
writing… meeting a deadline, (just) ahead of schedule… quiet music to accompany
being nervous about a new endeavor… witnessing how I can (sometimes) observe fear and remain detached, not buy into it
